			In 2010, Career Explorations and Dream Careers, a leading provider of college Internship Programs, joined forces to provide an unparalleled summer experience.

In this joint program, participants will have access to 17-years of combined placement experience, join a large professional network comprised of over 10,000 young professionals, and gain access to new and exciting opportunities. Our internship program provides housing, meal plan, planned weekend activities to the best tourist attractions in the area, a weekly seminar series, daily transportation to and from work, and of course, guaranteed internship placement.

Dream Careers History

Dream Careers, formerly University of Dreams Inc., was founded in February of 2000 and hosted its inaugural internship program at Santa Clara University. The first program was comprised of 73 motivated college students from top universities around the country, all looking to enhance their academic experience by challenging themselves with a competitive internship. After the first summer, word began to spread about the life-changing impact the program had on its initial 73 participants, and the company has continued expanding its program locations to foster the career dreams of students who have ambitions to work in major cities around the world. To date, University of Dreams operates in 15 cities globally, has a network of 5,000 employers offering challenging work experience, and has enabled 10,000 students to go after their dream careers.

In 2010, University of Dreams announced an acquisition of Discovery Internships, the world’s leading high school internship program provider. Dream Careers and Discovery Internships was a perfect match, as they were both built on the same core values; operating programs with passion, year round commitment to helping students achieve their goals, and a complete dedication to helping students take control of their futures.

Through this merger, Dream Careers and Discovery Internships have combined their vision, and now operate both high school and college internship programs under the name Dream Careers. Dream Careers will guide students through every step of their professional development, providing customized internship programs and career advancement opportunities in their dream fields. Dream Careers will continue to provide world class service, sparing no effort to deliver the most impactful experience possible, and you can be confident that you will receive the same high level of service that our thousands of satisfied clients have received in the past.
