Summer Staff

Career Explorations carefully selects Intern Advisors as leaders and mentors for our college programs. Our Intern Advisors are teachers, guidance counselors, graduate students, and others with experience working with young adults who enthusiastically share our mission. Our advisors are hired from around the country and are all graduates of prestigious four year colleges.

Our Advisors bring the right combination of experience and passion to inspire participants toward a memorable summer. They are knowledgeable, fun, safety-conscious, and focused on ensuring the well-being of participants. Each staff member is part resident advisor, part internship liaison, part mentor, and part friend.

Career Explorations begins accepting applications for summer positions in December and interviews the majority of candidates from January through April, or until all of our positions are filled. All candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and have previous experience working with young people. Applicants must be a minimum of 25 years old. Interested candidates who feel they meet the qualifications should submit a cover letter and resume to employment@careerexplorations.com.
