Career Explorations and University of Dreams are committed to providing your child with the tools they need to drive their future. We are here to help your son or daughter stand out against all of the competition, and achieve their personal and career goals. Employers are looking for young professionals - students that exemplify both the ‘hard' and ‘soft' skills necessary to excel in a professional environment. College is a fantastic opportunity to brush up on your ‘hard skills' - the classes you take, and how you do in them, prove your technical knowledge and ability to think critically. However, ‘soft skills' are far harder to acquire in academia. Often termed "professional development", these soft skills demonstrate to potential employers your ability to hit the ground running and function as a representative of that firm. Real work experience generates the professional development skills necessary to make the right impression, and as a result, ensure that you are given the opportunities to prove yourself and advance your career.

But don't forget, the internship and professional development skills are only a few aspects of our all-inclusive program! Our 8-week summer programs take place in some of the most exciting cities across the country. Career Explorations provides housing and a meal plan in safe, secure college dormitories where our on-site staff are always accessible. We organize and schedule multiple included activities ranging from Broadway shows and sporting events to trips to the beach and dinner cruises ensuring that each of our students get the full city experience. In short: live in an exciting city for the summer, generate a network of new, like minded friends, gain that professional work experience that everyone knows is critical, and have a fantastic time doing so.
