Discovery Internships (DI) is dedicated to helping high school students stand out through our all-inclusive customized internship programs. DI partners with current students across the country to raise awareness of our summer programs. For students, this is an opportunity to flex your marketing muscle and earn significant commissions. Whether it is through social networking, school presentations, or just by telling your friends, DI offers an opportunity for you to be compensated for spreading the word! There are no commission caps - the more resourceful you are, the more you will be financially rewarded!

There are two easy ways that you can earn referral commissions:                                          

  • Tell a Friend About DI: It's simple! Tell a friend about DI and you will earn $150 if that friend enrolls in DI. Any DI alumnus or accepted student for this year is eligible to earn a referral commission. Tell A Friend About DI Today.
  • DI School Marketing Intern: The role of our SMIs is to generate a DI presence at your school. You will receive a $150 commission for students that you refer to DI - but you can also earn cash and prizes for helping to market DI at your school. Here's how it works: You earn points, which can be exchanged for cash and prizes, for each marketing objective you complete. This could include talking to your school's guidance counselor or college advisor about DI, maintaining your school's DI Facebook group, posting flyers, holding information sessions, referrings friends to our website, and so much more. There is a point value for everything. Last year, we gave away $30,000 in awards to our SMIs.   • Post flyers and hand out your personal DI business cards
  • Hold information sessions for interested students
  • Refer friends to our website
  • Collaborate with marketing interns at neighboring schools to promote DI at local events
  • Be creative – there are plenty of other ways to get the word out
