Career Workshop Summer Internship Programs

Our Career Workshops are a fantastic way to explore a career in a more traditional learning environment than an internship offers. This is a great way to gain hands-on experience in a profession by learning directly from industry experts. All of our Career Workshops blend interactive classroom-based learning with real work projects.

For Summer 2010 we are offering Journalism and Fashion Career Workshops in our New York City program and a Green Career Workshop in our Boston program. 

 

CE Green Energy Workshop

              
Green Career Workshop (Boston only) Be a part of the next great global industry. Students in our 4-week Green Careers workshop program will learn about the exciting career possibilities in renewable energy and other green industries, acquire knowledge of environmental science and policy, and explore the various ways that ecological problems are being solved; begin developing the skills needed to be a leader in the new global economy through a dynamic combination of classroom and experiential learning.  Read More

 

 

    

CE NYC Journalism Intern

   Journalism Program (NYC only) This workshop will examine and cultivate fundamental journalistic strategies, tools and concepts, and put those elements to work through the reporting of rigorous, real-life assignments. CE Fashion Intern NYC

                       
Fashion Career Workshop (NYC only) Through our partnership with the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), we are able to offer students the opportunity to take classes through FIT's Summer Live program. FIT is one of the world's finest schools of fashion. Students in the Fashion Career Workshop can design and create their own dress, perfect their sewing technique or patternmaking, or study fashion merchandising or marketing and or any number of over thirty different classes in the FIT course catalog.
