Tuition and Payment

Career Explorations is a tuition-based, all-inclusive internship program. A Career Explorations internship program is an investment in your future. We help motivated high school students stand out in the college admission process and make more informed decisions about their college and career plans.

The cost of tuition depends on the type of program and location. All programs are 4-weeks and the cost ranges from $2995 for a day student program to $6295 for our New York City residential program.

  • 4-Week Residential Internship Programs

    Our Residential Internship Program is our flagship service. It includes customized internship placement, our Career Accelerator Curriculum, housing, meal plan, activities, and local transportation.

  • 4-Week Day Student Internship Programs

    Our Day Student Program provides all of the features of the Residential Internship Program, but is geared towards students who live locally. It includes customized internship placement, our Career Accelerator Curriculum, activities, and local transportation.




We are still accepting limited applications for Chicago, NYC, and San Francisco Residential Programs, and for Day Programs in all four of cities.

The Boston Residential Program is full.

Internship opportunities are available in most industries, including advertising, business, computer technologies, event planning, fashion, interior design, law, medicine, non-profit, politics, theater, and more. Please visit program location pages for industry availability in each city:

If you choose to pay your tuition in full, we will also include the CE Tuition Protection Plan for free - up to a $315 value.

Tuition Deposit:

The initial deposit of $750 is due with your application, and the full amount is applied toward your program tuition. The deposit includes a $50 non-refundable application fee. The remaining $700 is fully refundable in the event that you are not accepted into the program.

Payment Options:

During the application process, there are several payment alternatives presented:

1)      Pay in Full : To ensure placement in one of our programs, you may opt to pay in full with your application. This would combine the Deposit with the Tuition balance into one payment. As an added benefit for paying in full, you are eligible to receive the Career Explorations Tuition Protection Plan (CETPP) free of charge.

2)      Pay within 30 days. The tuition balance is due within 30 days of acceptance and enrollment into Career Explorations.

3)      Payment Plan. The payment plan provides flexibility for applicants choosing to pay for the program over time. There is a 4.5% plan administration fee for enrolling in our payment plan, and the complete program tuition is due in full before the start of the program.

Financial Aid:

Career Explorations does not currently offer a defined Financial Aid program. We do, however, offer a limited amount of merit-based financial assistance to deserving students. Visit our scholarship page for more information. We also suggest that you check with local community organizations or search the internet for scholarship opportunities as many institutions do offer financial support for students to pursue programs such as Career Explorations.
