Join us in Boston, The City of Students for Summer 2009!
Home to almost a million undergraduate and graduate students, Boston has an extremely rich student culture! Known as the safest walking city in the entire nation, Boston is the ideal place to spend a summer!
Boston is also a city filled with historic landmarks, cultural diversity and the largest concentration of colleges and universities in the world. Famous for everything from the Red Sox to the Boston Tea Party, Boston is easy to get around, either by foot or by subway (called the “T” by locals).
Boston stands out as a truly UNIQUE COMBINATION OF BREATHTAKING SKYSCRAPERS AND GREEN PARKS, complimented by a rich history dating back to the early days of our nation. The beautiful surrounding communities of Cape Cod, the Berkshires, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, Nantucket, and Rockport provide endless entertainment opportunities.
CE-Boston’s 12-story residence hall located at Emerson College’s The Little Building, is strategically located at the picturesque Boston Commons. The Little Building is centrally located to all that Boston has to offer. Our students are a short walk from shopping in Faneuil Hall and Newbury Street or taking in a performance in the Theatre district. Emerson’s outstanding facilities are also very close to Government Center, Downtown Crossing and Beacon Hill, all at your finger tips.
